Privacy Policy
Developer: Mastermind Apps
Effective date:
This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications published by Mastermind Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”) that link to this policy, collectively referred to as our “Apps”. It explains how information is handled when you use our Apps or contact us.
Our Apps may have different features. The advertising, analytics, permissions, and privacy choices described below apply where those features or services are present in the App you use.
1. Information handled by our Apps
Our Apps may store settings, preferences, cached content, saved progress, and other information needed for their features on your device. This information supports the App's operation and remembers your choices.
Advertising and analytics services may automatically collect technical, device, and usage information as described below. The information processed depends on the services used, their configuration, your device settings, and your consent choices.
If you contact us, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this information to respond to your request and provide support.
2. Google advertising
Some of our Apps use Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads. Depending on your device, settings, and consent choices, Google's advertising services may process:
- IP address and a general location inferred from it.
- Advertising identifiers, app-set identifiers, and other supported device or account identifiers.
- App and advertising interactions, such as launches, ad views, taps, and video views.
- Technical and diagnostic information about app and SDK performance.
These services support ad delivery and measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Different identifiers have different permitted uses under Google's policies.
Learn more in Google's Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure and Google's advertising information.
3. Analytics
Some of our Apps use Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand how people use our Apps and improve their features.
Analytics may process information such as app opens, session duration, screen or feature events, app version, operating system, device model, general geography, and an app-instance identifier. Advertising identifiers may also be processed depending on SDK configuration, device settings, and consent.
Google Analytics uses this information to produce usage reports. The events collected and any advertising-related use depend on the App's features and the relevant settings. This section applies to Apps that include this analytics service.
See Google Analytics for Firebase data collection for more information.
4. How information is used and shared
We use information to provide our Apps' features, maintain preferences, understand usage, improve performance and reliability, respond to support requests, and support advertising where included.
Google processes information through the advertising and analytics services included in an App. Our email provider processes support correspondence. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to comply with applicable law, address fraud or security incidents, or protect legal rights.
Third-party services handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. If you open an advertisement or an external link, the destination's privacy policy applies to that service.
5. Consent and privacy choices
Where consent is required, we seek your consent for the relevant advertising or analytics processing. You can make your selection in the consent message and revisit it through the privacy choices made available in the App. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
- You can manage available advertising preferences through your device's privacy or ads settings and Google's My Ad Center.
- Supported devices may let you reset or delete your advertising identifier. These controls do not necessarily disable analytics or delete information already collected.
- If the App offers an analytics preference, you can use it to control future analytics collection as described in that setting.
- You can manage permissions granted to the App through your device's app settings.
The options available depend on the App's features, device, operating system, and your region.
6. Retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing App features, support, security, and applicable legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and service configuration.
Local app data can generally be removed by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it. Copies included in device or cloud backups may remain until you remove those backups under your backup provider's controls. Removing local data does not delete information already processed by advertising or analytics providers.
We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to address your request and any related administrative or legal obligations. You can contact us to request deletion of information we control.
Advertising and analytics information follows Google's applicable retention policies and the configured service settings. For information independently held by Google, its privacy controls and request procedures also apply.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled by our Apps. Google's Mobile Ads SDK uses encrypted connections to transmit data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Information processed by Google or our email provider may be handled in countries outside your country of residence, as described in their privacy policies.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of processing, objection to processing, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request or ask about how your information is handled. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your request.
9. Children's privacy
Parents and guardians with questions or concerns about a child's information in connection with our Apps can contact us using the email below. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should not have been collected, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our Apps or data practices change. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent for significant changes.
